**Job Description**

The Cutter Grinder sets up and operates a variety of grinding equipment to perform precision smoothing, sharpening, polishing, and grinding of cutting tools such as drills, reamers, end mills, slab mills, and slotting cutters in high-speed steel and solid carbide. This role creates or modifies cutting tools from blueprints or written instructions, modifies tool holders and boring bars, and ensures all tooling meets exact specifications through careful inspection and measurement.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate grinding and CNC equipment to recondition and modify cutting tools
+ Grind and inspect tools (drills, end mills, reamers) to meet specifications and tolerances
