This position requires a high level of understanding of all machine setup and operation, finish machining operations. Create, repair & maintain tooling and fixtures for production & product development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manufacture prototypes, tooling & fixtures for product development. Manufacture new tooling & fixtures for production. Maintain & repair current production tooling & fixtures. Update current production tooling & fixtures. Programming, setup and operation of CNC vertical milling machines. Operation of manual vertical mills, lathes and other hand tools as needed. Track programming & machine run time needed to complete assigned tooling projects. Obtain quotes & write requisitions for materials and supplies that are required for individual tooling projects.
