**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist – 2nd Shift**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on the setup and operation of CNC lathes in a modern, high-precision manufacturing environment. You will work with Mazak equipment and Mazatrol controls to produce high-quality parts that meet tight tolerances and customer specifications. The position requires strong technical skills in CNC setup, programming edits, and inspection, as well as the ability to work efficiently and independently on 2nd shift after an initial training period on 1st shift.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate CNC lathes, including performing complete machine setups in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Perform your own tool changes, offsets, and proper tool touch-off to ensure accurate and consistent machining results.
+ Make Mazatrol code edits directly on the controller and perform conversational programming edits as needed to optimize machining processes.
