**Job Description**
The machinist role involves setting up and operating TMU Swiss Lathe machines, working with tight tolerances, and conducting thorough quality inspections.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate TMU Swiss Lathe machines.
+ Machine small, precision parts to tight tolerances.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
+ Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
+ Make tool offsets and minor program edits as needed.
+ Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure quality outputs.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2+ years of experience with Swiss Lathe.
+ Strong understanding of precision machining and tight tolerances.
+ Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations.
+ Experience with inspection tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
