CNC Lathe and/or Mill Set-up/Operator Machinist

A CNC Lathe/Mill Set-Up Operator/Machinist produces machined parts by setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Experience working with difficult material such as Inconel 718 and 422 stainless in a hardened condition is a plus. Knowledge and use of Mastercam a plus.

Job Duties:

• Plans machining by studying work orders, drawings, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
