**5-Axis CNC Mill Machinist**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our machine shop located in Santa Ana, CA. The position is for the day shift from 5:30am to 2pm. The role requires expertise in setup and operation of CNC Mill machines, with a strong emphasis on manual machining and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of machining processes to ensure efficient and accurate production.

**Responsibilities**

+ Collaborate with Planning, Quality, and Production teams to meet production goals.
+ Setup and operate CNC machines using engineering drawings or customer-supplied .step files.
+ Accurately interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements.
+ Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions and programming errors.
+ Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in efficiency and quality.
