**Job Description**
The CNC Machinist operates and sets up 3- and 4-axis vertical and horizontal CNC mills in a predominantly sheet metal machining environment. Machines run off MasterCam software and utilize controls such as Haas and Fanuc. This role supports both commercial and defense contracts, contributing to a fast-growing, cash-positive operation. The position is on a swing shift with a 4/10 schedule, focusing on precision machining, inspection, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate 3- and 4-axis vertical and horizontal CNC mills to machine sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Follow verbal machine operation instructions from department leads and review drawings and manufacturing planning to understand machining requirements.
