Job Summary:

Responsible for developing and conducting coding and billing training programs for a multi-specialty physician practice and coding support staff while remaining compliant with government and third party payer regulations and guidelines. Perform medical coding audits for providers and coding specialists resulting in detailed reports; addressing educational needs as appropriate. Responsible for revenue cycle billing coding and documentation compliance for governmental payers. Works with revenue producing departments regarding billing compliance and regulatory updates. Update providers, coders and billing office staff on changes in CPT, ICD and HCPCS codes as well as changes to government payer regulations and guidelines.
