Position Overview

Summary This position is located in the National Collections Program (NCP), Under Secretary for Museums & Culture at the Smithsonian Institution (SI). The National Collections Program serves as a principal advocate and advisor to Smithsonian leadership, collecting unit directors, and staff on matters relating to collections stewardship. Responsibilities The Collections Emergency Program Specialist will assist in drafting collections emergency policies and procedures that outline staff responsibilities across the disaster life cycle, including preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery.
