Responsibilities

Working with and advising corporate clients directly regarding commercial real estate matters, including purchase and sale of commercial property, acquisitions of business with a real estate component, development, and regulatory compliance.

Drafting and negotiating leases, amendments, assignments, and renewals.

Assisting with portfolio management and due diligence review, including environmental assessments.

Qualifications

Based in Ontario with active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Strong knowledge of Ontario real estate laws.

8+ years of experience with the purchase, sale, financing, development and operation of commercial leasing while representing major developers, retailers, financial institutions, lenders or pension funds.
