Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a talented Commis to join our dynamic and creative culinary team. As a Commis, you will play a role in supporting the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes in our hotel's kitchens. This full-time position is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Produce quality dishes in a timely and efficient manner for guests.
- Prepare and cook all food items according to recipes and specifications.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and proper storage.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistency in daily food preparation while staying updated on new products, recipes, and techniques.
- Prepare mise-en-place for banquets and restaurant buffets as per the function plan.
- Follow and maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene practices in the kitchen.
