Summary This position will manage a team responsible for the sourcing, qualification and day to day management of all parts and suppliers in the Capital equipment segment of Celestica. This team has overall ownership for all supplier relationships including T&C, Pricing, contracts, etc.
Detailed Description - Manages a group of commodity management, including pricing, T&C, supplier capacity and OTD.
- Manages a team of Supplier Development Engineering: sourcing, developing and qualifying new suppliers, developing new capabilities at existing suppliers, and driving cost reduction activities.
- Leads quarterly price negotiations for call commodities in the segment.
- Establishes corporate target and provides direction to managers in areas of global pricing, terms and conditions, supplier programs, and monitoring of supplier performance.
