Overview Purpose: Primary role is to support the smooth running of the commodity Business Team through administrative duties. To assist and work closely with the Commodity Specialist (CS) including updating Baan ITM data and triggering e-flow related to sourcing and procurement. The Commodity Team Administrator will also be helping with quote requests and any information related to parts/services provided by suppliers.
Responsibilities - Assist CS to request and manage suppliers' quotes to facilitate the correct supplier selection
- Follow up closely by expediting with suppliers on the quotes within the required timeline
- Escalate to CS if suppliers are not able to submit a quote to meet the quote submission schedule
- Assist Commodity Specialist to update latest suppliers' quotes such as lead time and prices
- Upon the approval of the triggered E-flow, upload the latest information into the Item Master (ITM)
