Position Overview
Leads service area community health grantmaking and investments by recommending charitable contribution strategies in alignment with identified community health priorities and organizational goals in the Central Coast (Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties). Partners with key stakeholders including non-profits, for profits, elected officials, public agencies, and other key community and internal stakeholders to engage in strategic community health work. Partners with Kaiser Permanente operations teams to implement initiatives that address social health needs of members, patients, and vulnerable communities. Ensures programs and activities comply with legislative, regulatory, and KP policies, including participating in development of a tri-annual community health needs assessment.
