About the role

As a Community Outreach Nurse - Childcare, you will work directly with early childhood educators, parents, carers and local services to support children aged 0-5 years. This unique role focuses on identifying developmental and health needs early, connecting families to support and creating a strong foundation for lifelong health and wellbeing.

In this role, you will:

Deliver place - based health and wellbeing initiatives in early learning settings

Conduct developmental screenings and health assessments to identify needs early

Support families to navigate and access health and allied support services

Partner with educators to design and implement programs that build healthier, more resilient communities
