Community Safety Patrol Officer
Are you a great problem solver who thrives working outdoors and wants to help residents feel safer? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Community Safety Patrol Officer (CSPO).

This is your chance to play a key role in making Basingstoke and Deane a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming place to live and work.

What you will do:

As a CSPO, you’ll help reduce antisocial behaviour and environmental crime by:
Carrying out high-visibility patrols across the borough to reassure the public

Engaging with residents, businesses, and local organisations to build community confidence

Challenging and addressing unacceptable behaviour in a firm but fair manner

Supporting and working alongside the police and other partners to tackle local issues

Acting as an ambassador for the council and police
