Full-time Position in Kapuskasing (with travel throughout the NEOFACS Cochrane Catchment area as required)

This position will be a member of the Youth Justice Team, and the primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing intervention and support services to young persons involved in the youth criminal justice system. This includes providing intervention services that focus on reintegrating the youth into the community, developing social skills and increasing a youth’s ability to cope, problem-solve and regulate with their emotions. The successful candidate will also deliver least-intrusive, community-based interventions through restorative justice processes, court-ordered attendance programming, and mental health diversion.
