Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support, encouragement and motivation to patients throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Assist nursing staff in delivering high-quality, person-centred patient care.
• Support patients with their daily care, comfort and wellbeing.
• Perform non-professional care activities under the guidance of qualified nursing staff.
• Observe patient behaviour and accurately document clinical notes.
• Maintain a safe, caring and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Uphold the principles of the Patient Rights Charter at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists and social workers.
• Assist with patient supervision and therapeutic activities where required.
• Follow all healthcare policies, procedures and infection control protocols.
