Specialist SEND School – Uxbridge, Hillingdon

A lovely specialist school in Uxbridge is seeking a dedicated and skilled Complex Needs Teacher to join its experienced and supportive team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to teach children and young people aged 7–19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and additional complex needs, across a range of key stages. Pupils are working at a variety of levels, including Entry Level and Functional Skills pathways.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Take responsibility for the progress and outcomes of all pupils within their class.

Lead and coordinate a team of SEND Teaching Assistants to deliver high-quality, consistent provision.

Plan and deliver engaging, creative and highly personalised lessons aligned to agreed timetables.

Teach core subjects, including English, in meaningful and functional contexts.
