Job Title: Component Engineer, Nuclear
Location: Burlington, VT
Type: Contract, 12 months
Compensation: $69.00 - $115.00 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid, 3-4 days a week on site.

Responsibilities:


+ Interface with suppliers on the development of Primary and Intermediate Sodium Pumps, ensuring hardware design meets design intent.

+ Oversee the design, manufacture, and delivery of large nuclear fluid pumps, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities.

+ Provide technical oversight to partners and subcontractors working on mechanical system designs for the reactor.

+ Coordinate technical interfaces and manage drawings, P&IDs, 3D models, and system interface diagrams.

+ Establish and maintain system requirements, specifications, and design packages for major plant equipment.

+ Support planning efforts, maintain schedule adherence, and ensure integration with overall plant design delivery.
