What you’ll do

The Component & Product Engineer - PCBA is responsible to ensure data integrity of the Bill of Materials, process routines in SAP, Enovia and MES. The Component & Product Engineer is the main link with R&D centers, a leader of PCBA data industrialization related to manufacturing design, BOM & BOL. Key liaison person between design (R&D) and manufacturing (process engineers), technical support of logistics, quality and production. This role ensures PCBA full manufacturing process definition in our production systems (SAP and MES-Aprisio), for New Product Introduction, Transfered PCBA from other EATON plants or EMS, supporting product lifetime changes.

• Liaison officer between R&D (customer) and manufacturing plant ERP/MES systems
• Creation of BOM & BOL for NPIs in SAP, with routines
• Review and recommend substitute components for new designs for improvements in supply chain, design robustness and maintainability
