Job Description
Day to Day:
A concrete field technician spends the day performing field and laboratory tests to ensure concrete meets project specifications. They travel to construction sites to conduct concrete testing. Travel will be up to two hours away and reimbursed. There will be a company vehicle provided in most instances. Throughout the day, they record accurate data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to engineers and project managers. When needed, they analyze samples in the lab. At the end of the day, they maintain equipment, upload reports, and plan for upcoming assignments.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Perform material testing of asphalt concrete
• Field sampling and compaction testing.

• Field inspection, testing, sampling, equipment, and equipment maintenance on assigned project.
