Position Overview

Construction Area Lead/Shutdown Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Shutdown oversight planning, driving planning work, working with multiple stakeholders
  • Coordinating contractors’ daily work activities
  • Planning site use in conjunction with other contractors and site operations
  • Resolving contractors’ questions and participating in the resolution of design issues
  • Managing contractors’ performance of the work in line with the contract requirements
  • Experience managing multi‑week shutdowns for industrial equipment
  • Knowledge of the project and construction progress across all trades/scopes of work, developing and communicating a project work plan, monitoring manpower and performance against that work plan
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly construction progress updates and construction summary reports, and coordinate, document, and attend meetings
