Job Overview
Reporting to the Construction Manager, as the Construction Handyperson, you will oversee on-site construction activities and assist in ensuring construction follows established design and quality. You also enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
This is a 6 month term position.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Working in a supporting role with the Site Superintendent overseeing the construction process for single family homes, duplexes and townhomes;Completing a wide variety of hands on construction tasks and assisting in monitoring home production, quality control, and site issues.Completing residential construction work such as: carpentry, drywall, paint, cleaning and site maintenance, and deficiency repairs.Promoting a safe work environment and ensuring all employees and trades work in a safe manner and follow Qualico’s Safety program and relevant safety legi...
