Job Description

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for all business and contractual aspects of the project related to the design and construction of the physical plant associated with a fibre optic network. The Fibre Construction team employs a model whereby internal, or third party, fibre optic network designs are contracted out to external construction teams to build and test. As such, the Construction Project Manager must possess excellent people and communication skills to motivate and maintain effective lines of communication between all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Fibre Planners to develop preliminary cost estimates and schedules

• Assist in marketing effort where appropriate and as directed by management

• Assist Project Managers to run competitive RFP processes for the selection of fibre design and construction contractors
