The QEH Dermatology department is a busy but friendly and supportive environment. The team are dedicated to providing the highest standards of patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of 5 substantive Consultants within the Dermatology service, as well as 3 Fellows, General Practitioners with Extended Roles (GPWERs), Clinical Nurse Specialists as well as a developed admin team.

Main duties of the job

• Provide high quality Dermatology care in out-patient clinics for adult and paediatric dermatology patients and perform high quality surgery within the appropriate level of competence.
• Participate in the Skin Cancer MDT.
• Attend required CPD events regularly and the annual Cancer Peer Review meeting.
• Perform regular ward rounds with residents. There is no out of hours on call commitment but the Dermatology team are closely involved in the care of in-patients between 9-5pm.
