Nephrologist Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage kidney-related disorders including CKD acute renal failure glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome
• Oversee dialysis care (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis) including initiating and adjusting treatment plans
• Manage hypertension and electrolyte imbalances commonly associated with renal disease
• Coordinate pre- and post-transplant care for renal transplant patients
• Interpret laboratory results urinalysis imaging and renal biopsies
