What the role is: You will provide consultant-level psychiatric care to Singapore Armed Forces servicemen at the Psychological Care Centre, offering clinical expertise to shape SAF psychiatry policies and contributing to mental health education across the organisation.
What you will be working on: - Provide consultant-level expertise on the clinical management of psychiatric cases and advise on psychiatry matters within the SAF.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments (including forensic assessments), deliver treatment and pharmacotherapy, and make medical recommendations.
- Supervise Psychiatry Medical Officers, reviewing and approving their psychiatric assessments, prescriptions and medical recommendations.
- Educate Medical Officers, commanders and servicemen on psychiatry and mental health.
