Position Overview
NOTE: This is a 40 hour/week, contract position anticipated to last through June 2027. Work may be performed remotely with the contiguous United States.
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager, Radiological Engineering, this position will specialize in the areas of radiological and nuclear analyses with a focus on pressurized light-water reactors licensing writing and defense. This position requires a self-motivated professional with experience working in a remote platform (web-based video, phone, email, etc), with the necessary qualification to obtain US export controlled software through RSIC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Perform engineering calculations and analysis using industry-standard methods and simulation tools (e.g., NRCDose, SCALE 6, , RADTRAD, , MCNP, ADVANTG) with little to no supervision.
