The Control Room Engineer/Operator is responsible for the operation and control of the PV farm system (i.e., PV Modules, DC Combiner Boxes, Inverter Station, Weather Stations) and its auxiliaries, including all Low, Medium, and High Voltage Systems and associated transmission lines through the Supervision, Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) to ensure continuous, safe, reliable, and efficient power generation of the Solar Power Plant.
1. Plant Operation: Takes charge of the start-up, synchronization, and shutdown of the solar power plant and its respective auxiliaries. Ensures normal plant operation, including load variations. Records, monitors, and evaluates operating system parameters such as irradiance/solar resource, temperature, wind speeds, energy dispatch levels, and load curves.
