Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Controls Engineer 3 for their Redford, MI location. Responsibilities:

+ -Working directly in the technical services team (TT/ODS) primarily supporting M1 Detroit Trans-Axles Assembly and Gearset Machining Business Units

+ -Direct production line support of controls logic, PLC and NC programming in Siemens based hardware platform (70%)

+ Continuous process and machine improvement (10%)

+ Daily performance reporting of equipment wellness for current emergency and/or planned/project maintenance from a controls perspective (10%)

+ Controls related document management (5%)

+ Shop Floor Management participation and support (5%)

+ Direct interaction, support and collaboration with skilled trades maintenance, maintenance team members and production team members

+ Interaction and support with original equipment manufacturers and material component vendors
