Job Description
This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying device-level analytics solutions for manufacturing operations using Python-based software and PLC programming. The Controls Engineer builds applications that collect and analyze data from production equipment to provide insights into throughput, efficiency, performance, and other key operational metrics. The position is primarily based at a technical center in Warren, MI, with periodic travel to manufacturing plants across the United States to integrate, commission, and support these analytics solutions on the plant floor.
