Job Title: Mid Level Controls Engineer
Job Description
The Controls Engineer is responsible for traveling to customer sites to program, commission, and start up equipment. Initially, all parts of the machinery are received at the plant in Jeffersonville, where they are built, wired, and programmed. After performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), the equipment is disassembled and sent to the customer site. Once installation is complete, the Controls Engineer commissions the equipment, modifies code as per customer requests, and carries out integration, troubleshooting, and on-site testing.
Responsibilities
+ Operate computer systems to manage and control equipment.
+ Create detailed electrical schematics.
+ Collaborate with technical personnel to prepare designs or operational plans.
+ Discuss designs or plans with clients to ensure alignment with their requirements.
+ Maintain electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
