Job Description
The Controls Technician will support Shoals' Controls Engineering team by building, wiring, testing, and maintaining industrial control systems used throughout the manufacturing environment. This individual will work closely with Controls Engineers to fabricate and implement new control systems, troubleshoot production equipment, and ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and according to design specifications. On a daily basis, the Controls Technician will diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related issues, provide technical support to maintenance and production teams, and assist with controls improvement projects aimed at maximizing equipment uptime and reliability.
