To succeed in this role, you will prepare food items on the menu using predetermined recipes, ensuring safety and sanitation guidelines are followed. Your responsibilities will include preparing resident meal trays, checking all items to ensure they meet individual resident needs as directed by nursing staff, dietitians,or physicians. You will work closely with other staff members to plan food production for the current and following days. Additionally, you will be responsible for unloading and stocking food items and supplies, requiring the ability to safely bend and lift heavy boxes. You must be able to withstand extreme temperatures in the kitchen and walk-in freezers and refrigerators. Regular attendance and adherence to facility policies are also required.Profciency in reading and writing is necessary.
