Copy Editor

Your team: This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning publisher and work with a professional, dynamic and creative Editorial team. 

Your role: Reporting to the Managing Editor, the Copy Editor will be responsible for taking fiction and non-fiction books from manuscript to finished books. They would be able to work independently to take complex books through due editorial process. This role is hybrid and is based in New Delhi .

Your key responsibilities:

• Ability and willingness to undertake intensive line edits and rewrites for fiction and non-fiction books.
• Conduct diligent fact-checks and ensure that house style is followed and consistency is maintained across books.
