**Corporate Accounting Fuel Accountant**

**JOB SUMMARY**
This position will work directly with Alabama Power Company's (APC) Accounting Finance and Treasury (AFT) organization, AFT management, other system departments, other operational management, internal auditors, external auditors, and any other providers or users of accounting data to ensure compliance with emerging and changing issues.

**_Major Job Responsibilities:_**

+ Calculate fuel and purchased power regulatory clause recovery for review by accounting management and filing with the Alabama Public Service Commission (APSC)
+ Prepare monthly journals for fuel, purchased power, wholesale revenue and joint owner processes
+ Analyze and report on Income Statement/balance sheet/cash flow results for presentation at management meetings
