Position Overview

 
  Job Description 
  BRIEF JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for operating the palletizer in an efficient manner to band units per shipping requirements.
  DUTIES & RESPOSIBLITIES: 
 Banding units in the proper manner as stated on the order.
 Moving units from machines to palletizer.
 Keep work area neat and clean.
 Make sure there is ample supply of banding sheets on hand at all times.
 Hand banding units if necessary.
 Reasonable overtime as required.
 Other duties as required.
  REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES:  Shift supervisor.
  POSITION INTERACTION:  Machine packers, loader/checker, shipping clerk and shift supervisor.
  QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:  Entry level position. Knowledge of proper palletizer operation and must be able to turn/push heavy units by hand.
