Position Summary

Reporting to the Controller, the Cost Accountant provides financial and analytical support to the plant management. The incumbent ensures data integrity of the plant’s financial reporting in accordance with established corporate standards and requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepares, reviews and analyzes daily, weekly and monthly production reports in accordance with Plant Management, company policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) which include costing, inventory, yields, utility usage, scrap/waste, labor efficiency reports.
• Attend DDS (daily direction setting meetings) – Support Yield and labor meeting with reports updated with latest data to support corrective action by the operational team;
