Country Controller (Thailand)

Facility: Kuala Lumpur office, Malaysia. Reporting to: Regional Accounting Head. This role manages end‑to‑end accounting operations for Thailand and other assigned legal entities, providing banking, treasury, tax compliance, audit, and finance project support.

Your Role:

• Collaborate with the Accounting Shared Services team to ensure timely financial close and delivery of high‑quality financial data.
• Ensure all financial transactions and activities comply with SHS Varian policies and local statutory requirements; maintain effective internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Take ownership of local statutory audit, annual returns, and other regulatory filings as required.
• Manage external service providers and monitor their service quality where applicable.
• Perform account reconciliations for all assigned balance sheet and P&L accounts.
