Court Victim Advisor (Sexual Violence focus) - Invercargill, Permanent Part Time

This is a permanent, part-time position of 28 hours per week based at the Invercargill District Court.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and adaptable person who has the necessary specialist knowledge, skills, and experience to make a major contribution to assisting victims of crime through the court process.
You'll make an enormous difference to the victims through what you do. You will keep victims updated on the progress of their case and help them participate effectively in the criminal justice system.
The role requires you to demonstrate:

* A calm nature and an ability to relate to people of all walks of life
* Ability to enjoy the challenges of working with stakeholders and with victims who have been affected by serious crime.
