Position Overview
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent record keeping for each insurance provider and insurance company. Lobby insurance companies for in-network group credentialing contracts at the highest rate possible. Lobby insurance for regular contract rate increases. Manage all the paperwork including electronic sites involved with credentialing providers. Liaison with medical providers to ensure they are submitting everything needed to successfully credential with providers. Maintaining patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Maintain current credentialing contracts up-to-date ensuring recertification if and when needed.
