Position Overview

A leading organisation in Burwood is seeking a Credit/Collections Officer who thrives on collections, builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and enjoys genuine variety in their day. This is a 12‑month maternity leave cover within a supportive, established credit team.

Reporting to the Credit Manager, you’ll take ownership of your ledger while being cross‑trained across all areas of credit — including banking, allocations, new accounts, credit reviews, and query resolution. It’s the ideal role for someone who enjoys staying hands‑on in credit and wants a busy, interesting workload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collections activity — outbound/inbound calls, email follow‑up, and proactive management of overdue accounts
  • Banking and allocations — accurate daily processing of customer payments
