Overview
In the pattern evidence research area, visual examination and comparison of various traces (e.g., footwear marks and tool marks) are conducted to determine how they were created or which object left them. The work involves microscopes and various imaging techniques. The work can be static at times.
Responsibilities
- Examine samples submitted for analysis.
- Prepare expert reports.

- Apply different technologies in practical work and understand cause-and-effect relationships in event evaluation.
