Job Responsibilities

• Compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies.
• Investigate all incidents and accidents as per SOPs.
• Ensure action is taken on all deviances identified.
• Ensure a safety conscious working environment.

Maintenance Management:

• Execute maintenance work in accordance with maintenance management policy.
• Ensure that root cause failure analysis (RCFAs) action plans are executed within assigned deadlines.
• Assist subordinates with fault finding and technical analysis on machines.
• Advise on applicable parts and components to be replaced or re-used.
• Review planned maintenance work based on breakdowns and RCFAs.
• Ensure that workforce is adequately equipped with tools and equipment to execute the required work safely and as per OEM standards.
