Job Description

Plans, implements and coordinates activities and interventions for the development, maintenance and expression of appropriate social and leisure lifestyles of patients admitted to the Unit. Performs a variety of duties involved in carrying out recreation programs in assigned areas and assists in planning programs. Provides guidance to the clinical Recreational staff and students.

Job Responsibility

+ Provides input for development of new programs for recreational therapy services.
+ Guides the recreation therapy staff.
+ Assists in the training of other recreation staff and volunteers.
+ Develops an individual recreational regimen for each resident; provides documentation of all events that occur during the regimen.
