Summary:

Provides timely, courteous meal service in a long-term care dining environment while ensuring accuracy with therapeutic diets, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting a positive resident experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve meals, snacks, and beverages to residents with care and respect

Assist with dining room setup, service, and cleanup

Ensure correct meal delivery based on dietary needs

Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards

Monitor food safety procedures and equipment as assigned

Assist with food storage, supplies, and nourishment preparation

Communicate resident needs and dietary changes to team members

Provide friendly, attentive service that supports resident dignity

Qualifications:

Food service experience preferred (long-term care experience a plus)
