MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. To execute air & sea freight shipment customer services which includes:
- Handling & providing customer service i.e.. Answering of freight enquiries from customers and overseas agent
- Perform account management for existing customers
- Generating quotations to customers
- Negotiate rates with carriers/liners/agents
- Handling bookings with shipping lines/airlines & co-loaders
- Follow up on export/import/cross trade shipments and updating of shipping status
- Prepare shipping documentation
- To coordinate air/sea freight shipment (pick up & deliveries), ensuring timely updates and constant support leading to improved service performance rendered to customers
- To monitor shipments and ensure compliance with customers’ SOP
- To act as liaison between customers and operations
- To ensure efficient service level is delivered for all shipments
