Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate directly with customers via telephone / email regarding inquiries, orders, expedites and complaints.
  • Quote to customers.
  • Negotiate and adjust shipping schedule with customers, freight forwarders, Materion US Service Centers, and other Materion locations as required.
  • Check inventory and product specifications to meet customer requirements.
  • Enter customer orders and purchase to the global plants.
  • Handle Import and Export documents (invoice, packing list, shipping instructions, B/L, L/C, insurance policy) and coordinate shipping schedules with freight forwarders and customers.
  • Inventory management of Performance Solutions products.
  • Handle customer complaints (Return, credit notes) and work with Account Managers to resolve.
  • Special tasks may be required by department manager.
