About the role

This is not a traditional IT or desk‑based cyber role. We’re looking for an experienced Operations Technician - Cyber or Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) Technician, known internally as a Cyber Technician, to join our West 4 Operations Team, based out of our Wormington site, supporting the security and resilience of the National Gas Transmission System, one of the UK’s most critical national infrastructures.

This is a home‑start, field‑based role covering the West 4 patch. You’ll spend your time out on operational sites rather than behind a desk, working hands‑on with live Operational Technology (OT) environments. From major gas terminals to smaller, remote installations, you’ll be directly involved in maintaining and protecting the systems that keep gas flowing safely across the country.
